Online Auction (currently ends June 20)

Please scroll down through the auction items and enjoy! If you choose to bid, please include the item number or numbers and your bid in a comment below.

Bids will be checked and updated daily. I will leave the auction items online until June 20 (and thereafter as described below). At that time, the items will go to the highest bidder. Please remember to consider shipping pricing in your bids. If any items remain after June 20, they will stay online and will go to the first bidder, up to and until we travel!

All proceeds go towards our traveling to China to bring our daughter/sister home. Anything you can do will help. Remember, we have other fundraisers going on, so if this one doesn't interest you, please take a moment and see if any of the others catch your eye or attention. This wait for our daughter has been a long time in the making and we can't wait to finish this journey and start another chapter in our lives. Thanks for helping us get there.

FAQ's
How do I place a bid?

All you need to do is leave a comment. Tell me which item you are bidding on (preferably using the item number) and I'll update the site with the most current bid.

How much do I bid?

I've listed the suggested starting bid price, but whatever you bid helps. Whether your bid is $5, $50, or $100, the total of your purchase goes directly towards our adoption expenses. Your bid is a way to help us cover some of our adoption travel expenses while getting something nice in return.

How long will the items be available?

That really depends on the item. For example, if someone bids $150 on a soap dish, it's obvious that the $150 is not for the soap dish but for our adoption. I'll post the highest bid on that item as the auction continues. At the end of two weeks, the highest bidder will be notified and payment could be made on the sidebar box titled "Online Auction". Fair? Maybe not, but this isn't an auction site. It's to help with our adoption travel expenses. I plan to leave the items up through June 20 with all items that have been bid on going to the highest bidder. If anything is left after June 20, I'll keep it on the site for the first bidder until everything is gone.

Any other questions? If not, then let's take a look at the items, and remember the suggested prices are only suggested starting bid prices and do not take into consideration the shipping cost. If you feel like the suggested prices are too high start the bids at what you feel is fair. If it says highest bid, then that is the price to beat. Let the auctioning begin:

Another fundraiser, a 50/50 raffle

What is a 50-50 raffle...well it's quite simple actually, whatever amount of money is collected for the 50-50 raffle, the winner wins half. For example, if $500 is collected the winner of the raffle will win $250. Tickets are $1 for one ticket, $10 for 12 tickets, and $20 for 26 tickets. All you have to do is leave a comment here how much you are contributing and then contribute thru the chip in button, or you can give me the money direct if you so choose. Once the money is received, I will let you know your ticket number (and I'll also fill out your information on the back of the ticket so I can contact you if you win). Thanks for helping us bring Chynna home!!

Puzzle Sale - Bringing Chynna home one piece at a time

I have purchased a 500-piece puzzle. We are "selling" the pieces as a fundraiser to help pay the cost of bringing Chynna home. For each piece you purchase, we will write your name (or any name you choose) on the back of the puzzle. When the puzzle is complete, I will frame it to hang in Chynna's room, so she will have it as a keepsake. The names on the back will be visible to show her all the people who helped to bring her home. You can purchase a piece with your name or "in honor" or "in memory" of someone. Each piece is by donation only.

Click Here and go to the sidebar and click on donate or on the chip in, and donate whatever you feel you can give. If you'd rather send it by snail mail, please leave me a comment here and I'll get back in touch with you.

Don't forget to tell me the name(s) that should appear on your puzzle piece. Feel free to tell your friends, family, coworkers, or church how they can also help us. We still have a lot to raise before Chynna comes home.

Many thanks for the consideration and assistance. Let's bring Chynna home.
